With just eight weeks to move out of their old location and be selling merchandise in their new store, high-end clothier Butch Blum turned to W.G. Clark to build out 4,600 SF of space at Union Plaza in Seattle’s downtown retail core. Teamwork and communication among all parties, including the client, landlord, designer, subcontractors and the client’s vendors made it possible to achieve this very tight schedule.
The new Class A retail space showcases both the upscale merchandise and the work of Butch Blum’s tailoring staff through a “display” tailoring area that can be seen through a glass wall in the sales area.
