Bamboo Sushi, the world’s first certified sustainable sushi restaurant, is a 4,700 SF restaurant located in University Village, Seattle’s only outdoor shopping center.
W.G. Clark performed two separate renovations in this space, one before and one during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both projects were performed within a very tight time frame. The jobs were extremely fast paced with very short preconstruction phases and multiple design changes during construction. Despite many last-minute changes, the entire construction team communicated and worked well together, tackling challenges head on, and adapting quickly to changing conditions.
The Japanese restaurant features a sleek bar area with custom metal shelving, an open sushi station with concrete countertops, a private dining area with custom wall murals and wall art in the dining and restrooms, and a fully renovated kitchen.
