The Village at Westgate is a four-story, luxury property with 91 units, 3,100 square feet of retail space, and parking on and below ground level. A green roof enhances the development, featuring native plants that conserve water. Residents can enjoy various amenities, including a business conference room, fitness center, gaming lounge, dog wash station, and a barbeque terrace that connects to an indoor lounge. The property also showcases public art made of local stone and reclaimed cedar from Vashon Island.
During construction, site access required passage through a shared and active parking lot. W.G. Clark safely coordinated delivery schedules with neighboring businesses. Set back from a busy highway, right of way work and deliveries were prohibited during heavy ferry traffic on summer afternoons. The south face of the building backed up to a wooded hillside with very limited access. Even with these restrictions, W.G. Clark carefully managed logistics without a tower crane, utilizing mobile cranes and forklifts to control costs.
