The Spur is a six-story, 98-unit infill project delivered on a tight University District site where efficient use of space drove key design and construction decisions. The building provides 63 parking stalls, 93 bike stalls, and a car-stacking system with capacity for 51 vehicles, reducing the footprint required for traditional parking and helping the team deliver 20 additional apartment homes.

The project’s siting and form were influenced by the junction of former rail lines that once converged nearby. That history is echoed in a signature design-build element: a five-story aluminum trellis styled like a railroad track, creating a distinctive façade feature while reinforcing the project’s connection to place.
