Jackson Street Apartments is a four-story, 75-unit mixed-use community delivered on a constrained urban site, with 4,700 square feet of new street-level retail and below-grade parking for 23 vehicles. The project paired wood-frame efficiency with careful sequencing and coordination, including self-performed concrete and steel work and early involvement from MEP partners to keep the job moving in tight quarters.
W.G. Clark successfully navigated shifting COVID-era constraints alongside a complex utility challenge. A neighboring sewer line had been improperly connected to a line assumed to be abandoned, forcing the team to reroute a new line beneath the building footprint. The issue was resolved through intensive coordination with the City and the adjacent property owner, protecting both schedule and long-term system performance.
