Spanning 12 acres, this field and classroom training space is a new cost-effective, highly efficient resource for Seattle’s Fire, Public Utilities, and Transportation Departments. We worked with federal, state, and local jurisdictions to create eight different types of building and highway construction simulations that include everything from burn buildings to vehicle accident prevention courses. We installed extensive dewatering systems and ensured nearly 50 percent of the site is impervious to extreme conditions and heavy firefighting equipment. This multiple-stakeholder project was finished on time and on budget.
