Era Living asked us to build a senior retirement community on Mercer Island that could compete with the nearby high-end condominiums. With over 250,000 SF and only 114 units, this project focused as heavily on group amenities and outdoor space as it did on individual living spaces. High-end finishes and cladding systems plus a customized courtyard that “shares” the city park ensures nearby condos now strive to compete with Aljoya.
